Local missions work

It is our heart to sow into and have a positive impact in the Treasure Valley. We believe we are the hands and feet of Jesus and it is our hope that with every backpack handed out, every Thanksgiving basket delivered, and every donation made, people would experience the touch of a good Father. Here is a list of some of our outreach projects that are supported by our Live Awake fund.

beneficiary fund

This initiative offers a helping hand when people are financially going through a tough time. We have been able to help many with gas/grocery gift cards, utility bills, and rent/deposits.

Family focused Events

Our annual Easter Bash, VBS, and even Harvest Parties are free family-friendly events where we have bounce houses, games, food, huge prizes, and the opportunity to receive Christ.

Thanksgiving baskets

The very first year we started Thanksgiving baskets, we were able to bless 50 families. Our goal this year is to bless 150 families with a turkey and a basket full of all the fixings.

back-to-school

This project is an opportunity to bless elementary students from Idaho Arts Charter School (right next door) with a new backpack filled with school supplies they need for the coming school year.

home makeovers

Over the years we have had the opportunity to paint homes, repair roofs, do landscaping, and provide furnishing for widows(ers) in our community.

blessing leaders in our community

From first responders to government leaders to local teachers, we want those who are serving and leading in our community to know that they are appreciated and seen, whether it’s through a meal, gift card or cards/words of encouragement.

foster and adoption

This ministry is set up to serve local families who are pursuing first-time adoption and/or are fostering children. We offer our support with resources, care, and love. Our hope is that people would not feel alone in this process which can be overwhelming, both financially and emotionally.
